Can I own Class III items where I live? |

Can I wear a shoulder holster
into the club? |
No. Due to the design of shoulder holsters
naturally muzzling everyone behind the wearer, we do not allow
anyone to wear shoulder holsters inside the store. |
Can I draw from a shoulder holster on the
range? |
No. See above. |
Can I bring my range bag on the
lanes with me? |
Yes, after we have
checked all the ammunition that is in the bag |
Can I shoot from
my holster? |
Yes, only after you
qualify with the range master. This is a one-time charge of $15.00.
This applies for LE as well. |
Can I retrieve my
own brass? |
Yes if it is in your
immediate area and not over the line. |
Can I use my own
targets? |
Yes, as long as they are standard regulation targets. No photocopies
and no pictures of individuals. Example: ex-wives/husbands, girlfriends
etc. |
Can pregnant women
shoot? |
Yes, but it is highly
recommended they do not. |
Can I use a BB gun? |
No, it will destroy
our auger |
How should I bring
my firearm(s) into the club? |
All firearms must be holstered or cased before entering the
Scottsdale Gun Club. |
What will my member’s
discount be? |
There is no set standard
for discounts. We will always have items on the floor at discounted
rates for members. Example: ammo, certain firearms, courses. |
What kind of ammo
can we use? |
Any ammo that generates
less than 8100fp of energy. No AP, tracer, incendiary, bird bombs,
dragon’s breath or any other weird
load. You can use reloads. |
Can I bring food
into the club? |
Please do not bring
food onto the shooting bays. We do have snack machines and soda
machines in the club. |
How do I go about
getting additional guest passes when I run out? |
Standard members
can purchase additional guest passes. All day guest passes go
for $15.00 or they can buy books of 10 for $100.00. Titanium
members can purchase all day lounge guest passes for $50.00 or
they can have their guest purchase a $10.00 pass to be utilized
on the public bays. |
Can I upgrade my
membership at anytime? |
Yes, we can apply
your original initiation dues to whatever level of membership
you would like. |
Are my dues refundable
if I back out? |
No |
What are the hours
of operations? |
Mon-Fri: 10am-8pm
Sat-Sun: 9am*-7pm
*First hour of weekend range time (9am-10am) is reserved for
members only. Retail store is open to everyone during these hours. |
What is the youngest
age someone can shoot on the lanes? |
The youngest age
allowed on the range is 10 years old. You must be 18 to rent
a lane. You can be 18 and rent rifles, shotguns, handguns & NFA
items. |
